Reversible Pylon Cozy
I would do anything to be whole again. Needless to say, that part of my life is behind me now. However, I am very grateful to be alive! I look forward to living a long and healthy life with my loving and supportive wife, Tamra.
Although I was lucky enough to have a custom socket, I felt strange looking at this shiny medal pylon. My “Terminator” leg, as I called it.
That is when Tamra and I developed the Pylon Cozy, currently for BKA prosthetics. They are handmade with care, reversible, and washable.
Our Pylon Cozy is also customizable. Think of it as an awesome accessory to share your patriotism, show off your favorite team, and much, much more.
Pylon Cozy Measurement
Not all BKA pylon areas (between the socket and foot) are the same.
To insure proper measurement of your pylon, follow these five easy steps:
1. Remove any sock and/or shoe from the prosthetic.
2. Use a standard tape measure.
3. Place the end of the tape measure under the socket.
4. Measure down to the foot, including both adapters.
5. The measurement does not need to be exact; however, it should stay within half-inch increments.
There you have have it!
