Very good buy and add to my camping gear. Provides great support and firm sleeping comfort. Plenty of room left below the cot for supplies and bags. I do recommend a quality pad under your sleeping bag for insulation and comfort. The only downside is it is a bit heavy but not a big deal for putting in the back of an SUV, just wouldn’t hike up a mountain with it.

Many reviews state how tight the fabric is and that it is difficult to put the tension bars on both ends. The fabric is indeed tight, but the trick is to make sure the entire piece of fabric is COMPLETELY centered on the frame when it is slightly loose as you unfold it. If it is not centered it is nearly impossible to get the bars properly on, again make sure the whole piece of fabric is centered before fully setting up.

Very similar to what I used in the military. I was in the USMC for 21 years and we used a cot very similar to this. For those commenting about how hard it is to put the two bars on…, it is supposed to be that way! This makes the cot tight and gives the support you need. Use something to pry it on.

This is my second of the same cot. The first one got hijacked by a family member. It’s a great cot. The first one I slept on for two weeks straight and the second for six weeks. (I borrowed a pad to put on top.) I have insomnia but slept great on this cot. It’s large, almost like a twin bed, and I used twin sheets. Two caveats: The initial setup will be a little tough, a two-person job because it’s nice and tight. So maybe set it up at home to stretch it out before you take it camping or wherever. However, it is a very simple and easy setup otherwise.

Secondly, the corner bars stick out some, and I whacked my knee pretty well. So for the second cot, I got those pre-sliced tennis balls that go on walkers to cover the ends. Perfect. I thought the price was great for the quality. If this cot is stolen from me again, I will happily buy a third. ALSO: Four large plastic bins fit underneath perfectly for storage.
